Olivia Wein is a Brooklyn (born &) based photographer.

She began creating images as a teenager and earned her first commission from Sweet on Snapchat Discover (Hearst) at age 13. She quickly expanded her portfolio, producing work for Susan Alexandra, Brandy Melville, Man Repeller, Rookie Magazine, and later her own publication — Loser Zine. During this time she won over a dozen Scholastic Art and Writing Awards for photography, including one National Gold Medal for original photograph “Ways to Love.” She also graduated from the International Center of Photography’s Advanced Imagemakers Program where she studied analogue photography and printing.

In 2020, she began her studies at Columbia University. While pursuing her degree, she received a research grant to study The Bloomsbury Group under Lionel Trilling Professor Edward Mendelson. She continued to explore her photographic craft, collaborating with sculptor and jewelry designer Jill Platner, designer Malia Mills, production company Willa, and a range of dancers, musicians, and performers. In the spring of 2024, she graduated with a B.A. in English Literature.

She now works full-time making images for brands, publications, performers, and people that she loves.
